'Sister Wives' House: Plans for the Browns' Flagstaff Home

Despite his wish to proceed, not every wife was excited by the prospect of living all together again. While the filming of the most recent season took place in 2020, Christine’s move to sell her place suggests that a change is in the works. As mentioned on Sister Wives, Janelle and Meri had been renting their properties in Flagstaff. Christine owned her house, however since her separation from Kody, she has bought it to maneuver to her new $1.1 million duplex in Murray, Utah.

Christine and Kody bought the home when the family moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2018. The abode also offers gorgeous mountain views, as Realtor describes the home as "perfect for those Flagstaff nights." The topic of living under the same roof as one, polygamous family got shot down quickly by Christine, who is the only one of Kody’s four wives who is staunchly against the idea. Then, it was reported that Christine’s home was no longer listed for sale, sparking rumors that she wouldn’t be joining the rest of the family when they build on their property at Coyote Pass. Sister Wives star Christine Brown has sold her Flagstaff home amid the Brown family’s quest to build on Coyote Pass. One is 4.48 acres “uniquely located overlooking a pond,” for which they paid $180,000.

Meri often takes photos on her balcony, which overlooks her property of trees. Another fan wondered about the fate of all the land in the Coyote Pass area. Which confused some fans who have closely followed the show. As we’ve reported in the past, the show’s stars left Sin City behind in favor of Flagstaff, AZ. The women placed their adjacent homes on a gated cul-de-sac in Las Vegas on the market. In a sneak peek of the Jan. 12 episode of Sister Wives, Meri is in the midst of moving all of her belongings from her rental home in Flagstaff, Arizona, into a new place.

Fans of the TLC reality show “Sister Wives” have an intense interest in the stars’ real estate dealings. As real estate drama has unfolded on the show, we’ve seen an uptick in views on our previous reporting about the wives’ living situations. A must see, large manufactured home backing forest and an undeveloped 74 acre parcel. 4 bedrooms, 3 bath home with huge kitchen & living room, skylight, woodstove, split floor plan and vaulted ceilings.

‘Sister Wives’ Fans Question If Kody Brown’s 1 House Idea Will Happen Amid Christine Split

At the end of the most recent season, Christine apparently signaled that she was done with Flagstaff, and with her marriage to Kody. Kody then made a land grab in Coyote Pass, outside Flagstaff, with the idea that the unconventional family would relocate there. In the meantime, the women scattered to find housing while construction got under way .

In Season 13, Kody seemed set on persuading everyone to live under one roof, and even had plans drawn up to show what that could look like. Kody purchased another Coyote Pass lot with Christine for $300,000 in 2018. The 5.16-acre space boasts “privacy and serenity,” as well as “breathtaking views.” It’s said to be a perfect location for a home tucked into the dense Ponderosa Pines.

Kody picked up this three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in September 2018 for $520,000. The 2,400-square-foot layout includes a new kitchen with granite counters and stainless-steel appliances. This space opens to the living and dining area with vaulted ceilings. The home is equipped with solar panels, and there’s a wraparound deck and covered back patio for entertaining. The home on 2 acres is located less than a mile from Coyote Pass, where the Browns have picked up a few parcels of land.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Reveals The Secret To Her 22-Year Marriage

Property records indicate that Kody has made several land grabs with his different “wives” in Flagstaff two years ago. In Sister Wives Season 17, Janelle’s landlord sells the modest one-story “fixer-upper” she’s at present renting. She’s determined that she’s going to purchase a trailer and transfer onto the Coyote Cross property to save cash and hopefully begin constructing her dream house. But when Kody and her sister wives shut down the idea, Christine was brought to tears and admitted she “can't do marriage with Kody anymore,” as she “doesn’t matter” to him.

The interior of the home is spacious and welcoming, with enough room to host Brown family meetings, as Sister Wives viewers have seen on the show. On the show, she moved her important belongings out of the house, as she was on a pre-evacuation notice. On Sister Wives, Meri was forced to move into her current Arizona home after the landlord for her previous house kicked her out because neighbors complained about her polygamous lifestyle.

Kody and Robyn

Due to the animosity that it was causing, Kody ultimately agreed to build four separate homes on the Coyote Pass land. However, those plans were slowed down due to them struggling to sell their former Las Vegas properties and again due to the coronavirus pandemic. Plan was to have his four wives live under one roof with their own apartment-style sections of the house.

Second Floor Plans

Specifically, Christine voiced her preference to opt out of one giant family dwelling. The second is 2.42 acres, a “gentle sloping” parcel with a blend of ponderosa pines and meadowlands. While all four wives have sold their homes in Las Vegas, Robyn, the only woman legally married to Kody, turned around and invested in a new place in Flagstaff last summer. The thing is, Meri doesn't simply find another place in Flagstaff. Instead, she ends up moving all the way back to Las Vegas — from where her family just made a huge move. This angle captured from the common area kitchen shows how large this section in “Kody’s house” could have been.

The home sits on four “beautiful” acres of land and is surrounded by a “peaceful natural forest setting,” according to the real estate listing. At the time, Kody was living at his other wife Robyn’s house for the past nine months. Garrison was 22 at the time and staying at his mom’s house while he saved money for a down payment on a house in the competitive Flagstaff market. He’s now realized that goal and closed on a $329k 4-bedroom home. However, fans are abuzz over a photo posted by Christine, which looks to show construction on one of the Coyote Pass parcels.

Fans will have to wait for another season, if there is one, to find out the dramatic conclusion to this real estate cliffhanger. As we all know, there is a bit of a time gap between when reality TV episodes are shot versus when they actually air on TV. With four separate households, four wives, a couple dozen kids between them, and only one husband in the midst of it all, the drama is pretty much inevitable. Fans of Sister Wives know there's definitely no lack of it when it comes to the Brown family. And Meri Brown's new house is just one recent source of drama on the TLC series. The plan for the first floor featured the main living areas in all of the wives’ “homes” within the house.

So now that they’ve accumulated all this land in a picturesque locale, what will they build? The options could be for a single megahouse for the entire extended family, or a compound of separate homes where the wives could spread out. And since Meri hasn’t been in rotation since their marriage turned platonic years in the past, Kody is nearly completely residing with Robyn and their 5 kids. First wife Meri, 50, and second wife Janelle, 52, rented homes when they first moved to Flagstaff. SISTER Wives star Christine Brown has sold her Arizona home for $700,000 after she threatened to move to Utah amid her marital issues with her husband Kody.

As Monsters & Critics reported, as of October 6, no building permits have been approved on the parcels which Kody and his four wives own, meaning they have yet to break ground on Coyote Pass. Christine selling her home raises some questions about the Browns’ plans to stay in Flagstaff and build on Coyote Pass. There is a nature theme throughout the home, as the big windows in the family room give views of the peaceful forest. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom house is estimated at $1,004, 019. In 2019 Garrison started a Hawaiian shirt business called Bob’s Floral, which is currently on hiatus. (Robert is his first name.) The website states that the brand has plans to return when it can find a way to manufacture the shirts domestically in the U.S.
